PROGRAM OFFERINGS
PreCanskate: Thursdays 5:10-5:40 *New* Mondays at 4:30-5:00
PreCanskate is a 30 min. non-parented class, once a week for children ages 3-5 who have not had any significant time on skates. It is designed to introduce children to the ice and help them become comfortable. This program teaches children the basics of how to get up when they fall down, how to move forward, basic backward movement and how to stop. Music, toys and games are used to help children feel ready to take the next step.

CanSkate: One day or Two days Mondays 5:10-5:55pm Saturdays 10:10-10:55am
CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on Sport Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity.

PreStar: One day or Two days Mondays 4:10-5:10pm Saturdays 9-9:55am
Pre-Star (formerly Star 1) is a bridge program designed to prepare skaters that are still interested in completing the Canskate level ribbons with the focus on challenging them with new skills needed to better prepare for the Star level skills - figure skating. On Pre-Star, there are less skaters and it is a longer ice time. This allows skaters the space and time to receive more attention to learn these new skills.

StarSkate Junior: Two Day or Three Days
STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system. StarSkate Junior (formerly Star 2-3) is for skaters working on their Star 1-3 levels

Payments
Total payment can be split into 2 installments, due October 1 and November 1. E-transfers sent to [email protected]. Password not required. In the notes section state purpose and Skater's name of e-transfer. Cheque or cash accepted as well. If you require other payment schedule please email the club treasurer at [email protected].
Read and Sign Waivers
Be sure to read and sign the concussion policy and waiver.
Subsequent Child Discount
If you are registering more than one child in any of our programs a discount will be applied during the registration process.
If you have multiple kids registered in our programs you will receive a 7% discount off of your registration fees.
Skate Canada Fee Mandatory
We must register each member with SkateCanda. Please visit SkateCanada.ca for more information on the organization. This fee is non-refundabale.
Lottery Book ~ Only to be paid once per family!!
This is a mandatory fundraiser for every club registered with SkateCanada. Sell tickets to your family and friends to recoup your cost or fill them in yourself. Don't forget to hand your book in at the beginning of January for your chance to win some great prizes.
