Pr
eCanskate is a 30 min. non-parented class, once a week for children ages 3-5 who have not had any significant time on skates. It is designed to introduce children to the ice and help them become comfortable. This program teaches children the basics of how to get up when they fall down, how to move forward, basic backward movement and how to stop. Music, toys and games are used to help children feel ready to take the next step.
CanSkate:  One day or Two days         Mondays 5:10-5:55pm                Saturdays 10:10-10:55am
CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on Sport Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity.
PreStar: One day or Two days               Mondays 4:10-5:10pm                Saturdays 9-9:55am
Pre-Star (formerly Star 1) is a bridge program designed to prepare skaters that are still interested in completing the Canskate level ribbons with the focus on challenging them with new skills needed to better prepare for the Star level skills - figure skating.  On Pre-Star, there are less skaters and it is a longer ice time.  This allows skaters the space and time to receive more attention to learn these new skills.
StarSkate Junior: Two Day or Three Days
STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system. StarSkate Junior (formerly Star 2-3) is for skaters working on their Star 1-3 levels
StarSkate Senior: Two Day or Three Days
StarSkate Senior (formerly Star 4-10) continues the growth and development of our StarSkate program for our older and more advanced skaters.
